FLAS Fellowship for Asian language learners | The Department of Education FLAS (Foreign Language and Area Studies) fellowship is open to all University of Utah students studying an Asian language (Chinese, Hindi/Urdu, Japanese, Korea, Pashto, Russian). Summer awards cover tuition plus a $2500 stipend! Academic year awards cover tuition and a stipend of $5000 to $15,000! This is a great opportunity for students planning to study foreign language abroad.
